Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every booking at Kangkung Travel. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.

About us

Kangkung Travel rents cars, scooters, minibuses and buses in Bali, self-drive or with our own drivers. Our main office is at our Denpasar pool; other pick-up points are listed on the booking page.

Your account

• Please give accurate details (name, phone/WhatsApp, email). We use them to confirm your booking and contact you on the day.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for bookings made from your account.

Prices

• Prices are set in Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Prices in other currencies are converted at our daily rate and are for reference.
• The price shown before you pay is final for the dates and vehicle you chose. It is calculated per 24 hours from pick-up time; leftover hours use the 12-hour or hourly rate, whichever is cheaper.
• Peak-season surcharges (for example Christmas & New Year) are shown in the price breakdown before payment.

Booking and payment

• A vehicle is held for you for 24 hours after you book. If the booking isn't paid within that time it is cancelled automatically.
• Payment is by QRIS or bank virtual account. Your booking is confirmed once we have checked your documents; you will see the plate number in Account → Orders.
• We may decline a booking if documents are missing, unclear or don't match the renter.

Vehicle swaps

If the booked unit becomes unavailable (for example a breakdown), we will provide a vehicle of the same type or better at no extra cost. If that isn't possible, you get a full refund.

Liability

Our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version shown when you booked applies to that booking.
